Subsquently to his dismissal as aforesaid
your Petitioner applied to His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong for the grant to him of a pension but such application has been unconditionally refused.

Your Petitioner has not been publicly charged with and tried for having attempted to commit an unnatural offence, and no opportunity has therefore been given him of cross-examination the witnesses against him, nor of producing witnesses who, as he informed the Assistant Superintendent of Police prior to his dismissal, are able to prove the falsity of much of the evidence given by the said Tsang Ku The Colonial Secretary of Hongkong in
a letter written by him to your Petitioner's Solicitors stated that the reason why no prosecution was instituted against your Petitioner was in consequence of a desire to be
